Dr Babak Shahbodagh received his PhD from Kyoto University in 2011. He was awarded the Monbusho Scholarship for his PhD program from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Japan. He is currently a lecturer in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UNSW. His research interests include:
- Computational Geomechanics
- Dynamics of Unsaturated Soils
- Constitutive Modelling of Geomaterials
- Seismic Analysis of Geostructures
- Dynamic Soil-Structure Interaction
